2) Include a note stating the services you require (nicotine, AP/DA/Acetoin, or both).
3) Provide your contact info (name, address, email, phone).
4) Enclose a check made out to Terponix for the total cost. Results will be sent by email.

ABOUT US

Terponix is a Salt Lake City based analytical services company focused on e-Liquid testing for the electronic cigarette industry. Our services include nicotine analysis, diacetyl analysis, acetyl propionyl analysis, and acetoin analysis. We perform our testing by GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy) using Agilent instrumentation. The mass spec employs electron ionization and a triple quadrupole mass analyzer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How is the company name pronounced?
A. Terponix = “ter” as in turpentine + “pon” as in pontificate + “nix” as in Stevie Nicks.

Q. How long does it take for sample analysis?
A. We aim for 15 working days. If your samples arrive on Friday or Saturday, then 15 working days from the following Monday. We do recommend that you email us prior to sending your samples to see if there is a wait.

Q. Are my results confidential? Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
A. Absolutely. Results are provided only to the client who provided us with the samples . We are happy to sign an NDA if you provide one.

Q. Can you reverse engineer a competitor’s flavor of e-liquid?
A. We can but we won’t. And we won’t reveal your formulation to a competitor either.

Q. Can you quantify the amount of acetoin, diacetyl, or acetyl propionyl in a sample?
A. Yes. We can quantify these ingredients down to a concentration of 5 ppm.
